The council advocates on behalf of scholars and to foster community among college students. SAC has scheduled meetings with the dean and different senior school administrators to voice pupil considerations and provide pupil enter for choice-making. In order to better characterize college students, SAC maintains a number of channels for scholar feedback, including regularly scheduled school-extensive town halls. SAC organizes group-building actions like the annual gala and hosts the weekly Network Across Carey, in collaboration with scholar organizations and staff departments. SAC members are also active participants in and supporters of key school actions, similar to Orientation and Beet Week. SAC consists of an govt staff, senate, and varied committees to hold out select SAC efforts. The executive t eamleads the execution of core SAC activities and responsibilities, together with community-constructing events and advocacy efforts. Executive group membership requires lively dedication and suppleness. The senateconsists of representatives from each tutorial program at Carey. They work with the chief team to collect pupil input, craft recommendations to enhance the coed experience, and voice those suggestions to the college administration.
